The fundamental purpose of night support is you and your family getting the rest and recovery needed. I will do the baby overnight care while supporting all of your choices. The following is included in my Night Support service:

  • Arriving at your place at the most convenient time for you and your family, to ensure as much rest and recovery as possible is granted during my stay.
  • Bringing the baby to breastfeed when necessary and supporting the mother during the feed with positionings, supportive pillow, hydration, snacks, others.
  • Baby care after feeding (burping, diaper change, back to sleep), so the mother can go back to sleep right away after breastfeeding.
  • Supporting mother with night pumping, if required.
  • Preparing and cleaning bottles and pump parts.
  • Preparation of a light breakfast for the next morning is a bonus that can be discussed.
  • Free initial interview (45 min – online or in person)

Need to get out of the house with your newborn baby and have no company?

I will accompany you to and support you at your doctor or midwife appointments, treatment sessions, passport application, and a wide variety of other locations.

I know how challenging it is as a new mother to leave the house alone with a baby. At times we are not confident enough or simply do not know what to do or expect. It is even more challenging when our partner is unable or unavailable to accompany us. This is a particularly common problem for immigrants and single mothers, who often have fewer supports, such as extended families available to help.

How Mom’s Ride works:

  • You fill up the BOOKING FORM by providing your name and contact details. Please also include the date, time, and pick-up/drop-off address(es) for your appointment(s).
  • The Booking Form must be completed a minimum of five days prior to a scheduled appointment.
  • I will arrive at the pick-up location one hour before the appointment time (or as needed if discussed in advance).
  • I will help with your needs to get you out the door (changing or feeding the baby, hold the baby while you change, accommodating the baby in the car seat, etc).
  • I will sit beside and attend to the baby in the back seat of your car while you are driving.
  • I will be supporting you and the baby during the entire appointment as needed.
  • I will accompany you and the baby back to the initial pick-up location.
  • After the appointment, support can be provided upon request.
  • Siblings can join the ride for a small additional fee.
  • Free initial consultation (30 min – online, by phone, or in person).
  • C$25/hr – hours are calculated from the time of my arrival at the pick-up location to the time of my departure from the initial pick-up location, or until my company is no longer needed.
  • C$5/hr additional charge per sibling joining the ride.
  • Customized packages available upon request.
